The FRG cookbook that is now available for order, is that the same cookbook that we submitted recipes for or is there another cookbook that we are doing.  Just a bit confused and I want to order the right one.

Yesterday CLB 13's Family Readiness Officer sent info on anticipated return timeframe.  If you haven't gotten that information yet, as Navy Moms, check with your Ombudsman.  Sure made my day!

Today we got a package from our son.  He sent it weeks ago and we were afraid it was lost.  Really neat stuff inside but the best part was knowing it was from him.  Really getting anxious for the ships return.

Today is a good day!  It is our 35th wedding anniversary and our son is back stateside.  He is packing up his house to head to his next assignment.  He will be attending one of the War colleges.  He is looking forward to getting his masters and having 10 months of a normal family life.

I will be looking in on you great ladies from time to time. I would still like to purchase the cookbooks.  I feel as I have made some great friends here and look forward to staying in touch with all of you.

Hi iriejennifer,

I was always under the impression that they could not.  However, when you open the link below there is a bar near the top and just above the Eagle, Globe and Anchor you see the words "2 way service".  Hmmm, so I send the link to my son and asked him to check it out.  Now, they don't get computer time very often or for long, so that still may not be an option for them IF it truly is what it sounds like it is. I hope Aaron checks it out.  I got a call last Saturday and it had been 6 weeks since I had heard his voice.  Letters via motomail between those times would sure be nice, even if it was "nothing to tell you but I love you mom"  Or "This kind of cookie traveled well, but don't send the other kind again."
