I'm so glad you told me about Christmas packages, I will get mine ready to send out on MOnday. This is my son's 2nd deployment on the USS Greenbay. & miss my baby boy so much.

My daughter said that, as of late last week, they had only gotten mail twice.  Her husband has packages that she packed herself before she left with ship dates on them.  I'm sure that when they are in open waters, they mail deliveries are less frequent than when they are near ports.

Hello to anyone,

Has anyone packages been received on the Greenbay that you know? And has anyone heard that they are holding packages received after the middle of November?  If anyone has info can you please respond.  Getting ready to send Christmas package and I heard that they wont accept anything after Mid November. Thank you for any responses.

He said it's like 6-8 months.  We get to see him the end of this month at least.
