Thanks Tiffani - is it a 6 month deployment? Sorry for all the questions, but I can't talk to my hubby at the moment :)

My son said they will be leaving the middle of next month

Hi there - my husband is at OCS and has just been told he will be going to the USS GreenBay :) Can anyone tell me the deployment schedule? I am just trying to plan accordingly.
Thanks in advanced!

It looks like I may not make this upcoming Tiger Cruise on Monday.  My son says not to worry because they'll have more.  Is this the case, and does anyone know if it will be before they deploy in September?  Also....Lauri - good looking son as well. :)  I just love seeing pics of these GMs!

My son is also a GM.  He is front row , second from left and this next deployment will be his second with the Green Bay.  Welcome to the group wenikimc!

That's awesome weni!  Love to see the pics of our boys.  My son is also enjoying his time on the USS Greenbay.  I have gotten to see pics of him also on the facebook page, makes me so happy to see him.

This is my first time on this group, so I thought I'd say hello to all the other family members with loved-ones on the Green Bay!  My son is a GM and is really enjoying his time being underway.  Even though it's only been a couple of weeks, I'm ready for him to come home!  I guess this is getting us all ready for September....Bottom line is he's happy, and that's what matters! :)   Here's a pic from the USS Green Bay FB page.  It's a photo of my son (front/center), and the other GMs on the ship.  It's so great they post photos when they can.  Keep your eyes peeled...you just may see your loved one soon too!

Wow, your son has been on the same ship since 2009.  That's  long time to be on one ship.

This is my first time commenting. My son has been on the USS Greenbay since its maiden voyage. I am not very familiar with how this site works but want to learn.

Thanks for any help

Wow, it's nice to hear from other's that have loved ones on the USS Greenbay.  My son joined the Navy last September and went to the USS Greenbay in February.  I have got to see pictures of him on the USS Greenbay facebook page which is so cool, got to see what he actually does.  I haven't been on this page in forever but I have a feeling I will start coming back in here quite regular.
