OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Denise.....Your so sweet to want to help with our project! They have taken all the fabric out of Wallmarts here in CA. We do have Joann's so a gift card would work if you have those in your area.

I have managed to make 30 pillowcase so far on my own. Will keep plugging along on them.

I will PM with me address. Again Thanks!

Need some assitance:

A couple of us have volunteered to help with a service project for sailors. We are undertaking the task of making a pillowcases for every sailor on the USS Abraham Lincoln for christmas 2010.

Currently we need to make 200 pillow case.

What we need help with is fabric. I know some of you have sewn in the past and have a stash of fabric lingering around.

If you have any 100% cotton, mim 1 yard that you would be willing to donate to our project we would greatly appreciate it.

Please contact me if you are able to help us with this project.

Thanks!

PS: My son is not on this ship, but these individuals are in the Navy family and its just my way of saying Thank you..
