Kim....Sounds like you have everything under control. I can't remember the name of the song that we dance to at my son's wedding but it was by Louie Armstrong. I will try and remember the name.

Is your son getting married in uniform?

Kimberly.....Our son gave us a private tour of the ship. We went early on Sunday before the public was admitted. I met many wonderful sailors and officers, however everyone was introduced by rate and last name and there were way to many to remember.

What does FC stand for?

So how are the wedding plans going?

Just back from SF. Had a great time, meet many young and wonderful sailors and officers. The ship tour was awesome!!! Got to spend a little time with the flight deck crew at the BBQ sponsored by the SF and Oakland Police Department, Tons of food and music. Many of the sailors where heading off to the 49er fooltball game, some went golfing. some where shopping and a few where off to do laundry.

It was a little cool, but no rain. The air show went off as planned (they had cancel practice because of the low clouds. But they still thrilled the crowds.

The best thing of all I got to spend the day with my son!!! It was great to see him and just hang out and talk! His grandfather got to come with us and was so proud of him, you could tell everytime he was introduced to someone, that he got to tell them he was his grandfather.

I also left my son with 15 dozen homemade cookies to share with the crew.

Thanks for letting me share.
