Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Ladies....Check out this web site. A local weatherman in Green Bay Wis used a picture ot the crew on the Green Bay flight deck on the news last night.

You can go watch it on the website. It can be found at www.wfrv.com , once on the webpage, click on the search drop down near
the top right corner, and select "Search Videos" Then type "10/5: 10pm Storm
Team 5 Forecast " into the search.

My husband and I just watched it. It was just cool to see the picture. It will only be posted for 24 hours. I don't know when the 24 hours started, but we just got the e-mail this evening from our son.

Denise....Yes I am always thrilled to see him. He is my oldest. There are seven years between our son and daughter, so I had alot of time with just him, and we are close. He has been out of the house for 12 years now. Somehow I have always managed to visit with him every 3 to 4 months, until he started deploying to the middle east. But he is on the west coast for the first time since he left home, so I imagine I will visit with him more.

It must be my month because I get to go to San Diego to see our wonderful daughter in law and my two darling granddaughters for the weekend. I just made them wizard caps and hats. They should have fun with them.

Plan to take a large batch of home made cookies with me to San Fransisco to leave on board.

Sure you can come out for the weekend just to play?

Heard from our son, as he was sitting on the beach. They are off to do some more test for a few days, then they head to San Fransisco for Fleet Week, then they return to San Diego about the 17th.

That means I finally get to see our son for the first time in 11 months. The last time we saw him he was just deploying to Afghanistan on a IA. So excited to get to spend few hours with him. He did say they have a full schedule in San Fransisco, and would only be able to get away part of one day. Having had him at the academy, I well understand that all you get is a few hours with them sometimes
