OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Kim....I can relate to the falling apart issue. I feel the same way now that I am into my 50's.

Kim....I have never heard of anyone breaking there foot like that.

One thing my Orto Dr told me was to double up on me Calcium while recouping. Since we are not as young as we use to be, we need to jump start to our system to help the bones heal. It seemed to help with me. I was in and out of my cast in the mimuim about of time.

I know what you mean about feeling like you are letting work down when you are off. I have a hook-up to work on my computer at home also.

I think falling while I am home alone is one of my greater fears!

Take care!

KIm....OMG how did you break you foot? Did they have to do surgery? Hope everyone is waiting on you so you can stay off your foot.

I broke my left hand a year ago and it was defintely a challenge to do things, much less dress myself.

Yes, I recongize the signs of the girlfriend. When mine would come home from college we would pick him up and barely get in the door and he would be heading out to see her. She is now our lovely daughter in law and mother to our darling grandaughters.

Hope you are getting lots of good rest.
