Is that really a good idea to post the address on line? Just asking? Seems like might it fall into the OPSEC arena...
Hi!
Just wanted to let you know that APO and FPO addresses all go to New Jersey. From there, they are shipped out around the world by the military (they are no longer in the US Postal system from that point).
So, these addressees don't give away a ships location.
guess what. when my son first joined the navy. his return address was his full ss number! i still have the letters 1989! now the navy is wondering how someone got a hold of all of these sailors social security #'s can anyone comment on this. do anyone even remember when this was in the news? it was either this year or last year when this took place? lady d.

@JB, They are giving the address to the ship for letters. Not the location of where they are at. Its OK to post the address of the ship :)
My son is aboard the Truman & I'm praying about the situation they are in right now......read latest news & stay updated. God Bless our troups~
Where can you find the latest news? The last articles about USS Harry Truman were dated in the late June. There is nothing else I can find about the situation on Persian Gulf. Please tell me what and where I can read the about current situation in that region? Thank you
