He thinks my being on the navy for moms is like bootcamp stuff.... he said they call it "booter". I think he secretly likes it, he's just trying to be cool.

Wow I'm sure that's hard to be happy and upbeat for the one who is at home but yet you are missing one so much.

I'm seriously addicted to this too ~ hubby said last night "why don't you just join the Navy too". He was only teasing but I am so glad we all have each other. Sailor son thinks it's "booter" but everytime he comes up with something he doesn't know how to get an answer for he knows I'll find it with my Navy moms!!

That would be awesome Kim, we won't get to see sailor son when the ship comes in b/c he wanted us at the commissioning... now I'm wanting to do both! Let me know how I can help.

Sailor son has birthday July 27.

Had a couple of text messages and a phone call on Saturday! I couldn't believe my phone was ringing and it was him. Hope everyone is doing okay.

Just talked to sailor son earlier, wow this is exciting for them. I told my hubby if we left right now from NC we could be there in the morning to see them sail off. :( Then I would really be flipping out! :)

Hey do you all know we have a facebook page?~

Talked to sailor son this morning. He is really getting anxious to leave "hot and steamy" MS and get going back to SD. I wish I could head back to MS to see him before he leaves. We are going to the commissioning~ since we are on the East coast I doubt we can make both events.

Hey Laurie, yeah I'm starting to get a little weird myself.
