OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

I am so proud of our sailors on the Makin Island... I talked to my son this morning, he sounded so excited.

Thanks, my son's truck is here in NC and we're trying to make arrangements to get it to CA when they get back, but he would like to have it in MS while he's there.

Hey do any of your sailors have their autos down there?

So how does your sailor like Pascagoula? Mine is headed there in just a couple weeks.

Oh right yes I've signed up for the family website as well. I was thinking there was something else on navy for moms.

Are you going to the commissioning ceremony when they get back?

Hey do you mean the family website through the Makin Island website or on here? My sailor is still in SD, but heading to MS soon. So your son is on the ship already?

Hey Karen, has your son made it out to CA yet? My sailor is loving it.
