Hi Christa!  Welcome!  I also will answer any questions, Laura has been my rock through this, she's great.  My youngest is now in A school for AT, he started the same day my oldest shipped out.  And he does not know when he will be done.  Make sure he sets up his Navy email before he joins the squadron, and get his mailing address before he goes, if he doesn't know it, we can all help you with that.  What is an AZ?

Hi, Laura.  My son is an AZ.  He said that he will be coming home for 10 days or so before he has to report to the squadron.  Just not sure when that will be....  Still so much to learn.  I really appreciate your offer to answer any questions I have and will most definitely take you up on it!

HI Christa,

Welcome Aboard!  Its nice to meet you!  What is your son's rate? Mine is an AT. Hopefully you will get to see him after A school before he joins the squadron.  The ladies I have met here are some of the most awesome friends I have. Feel free to contact me anytime, if I can help you I most certainly will.

Hi, everyone.  My son graduated from boot camp at the end of September and is in the final weeks of his A-school training.  After that, he will join the VFA25.  This is a new experience for all of us and I am so happy to have found this group!  I look forward to learning and sharing with each of you as my son continues on his US Navy journey.

Hi!  I am a mom of a Sailor assigned to VFA-25 - My son had his PIR on May 6th of this year.  He was on the Carl Vinson for 4 weeks in October and is back on base.  He will be 24 in January.  I was  on Navy Moms with his Boot camp Division and some of us are still communicating with each other every day.   I love Navy Moms!  I would have been lost without it.  This will be a first for us..D-day.

HI Lori!

That's so funny you say that, I was out this weekend scouting out reduced halloween candy for the care boxes. I know your son will also be out soon....let the care packaging commence!!  :)
