Ok, so I watched the latest shout out video like four times, searching in the background for my NavyDude, but didn't see him.

You are right Diane, he needs to make friends with the ship videographer! lol

They probably handled it the way I handled boot camp, run to the mailbox and cry when there is nothing there. Brandon is also on the flight decks at midnight, guess that's why I haven't seen him in any more pictures.  Diane, have you seen your son in any of the pictures yet?

I'm very thankful for the communication we have we our Sailors. I don't know how moms did this ride years ago when all they had was the hope of snail mail....

Thats cool Diane - we love the fb photos!  There havent been any of my sailor yet, he works midnights on the flight deck, but i know Nalashome's son has been in a few of them. My girlfriends daughter is an AM, my son is an AT. I am sorry to hear he has had trouble, but it seems he is finally on his way! Is he with the squadron on the vinson now?

Hello Diane, welcome to the group!  This is my son's first time out also and he loves it.  I've been checking the ships facebook regularly, very informative and amazing photos, it keeps me from worrying too much and going nuts, have you seen it?

Hi Everyone! My Sailor emailed me today, he finally has received some of his packages. He said lots of them did. I hope your Sailors received their boxes from home also. It feels so good knowing they got there...its been a long time coming.

Have a great week!!

Happy New Year to all!  Be strong and know that they are safe , they will come home safe and full of stories to tell.  They are doing what they feel is right, and we moms believe in them with all of our hearts.  God bless, and spirits up!  My friend gave me a blue candle, and it is burning bright.

May 2011 bring us all much love and happiness, and bring us our Sailors home safely.
