Thanks, Marcy: Yes, so sad that they will be attending his funeral on the day they should have been celebrating their reunion with him after bc. I know all who will be at PIR will be thinking of him...Lala was kind enough to make some ribbons in memory of Christopher for the ladies of PIR 1/20 to wear, which was wonderful. Prayers for comfort for his family/friends...
Marcy - Thank you for posting about the recruit passing. It is sad and I know there is a sadness at bootcamp. We can all give a moment of prayer to their family.
God Bless them!

This is the Obit for the young SR that passed away. I thought I would share it with you guys. Some said they wanted to send flowers or something. I don't mean to make you guys sad again but I figured you guys would like to see this. If you want you can make donations and they are at the bottom of the Obituary.
Gayle thanks for sharing the link for that coin, I think I will have to order one of those! I like that you can personalize it! I actually ordered this one a few days ago. Guess he"ll get two coins instead of just the one!

dianne, can I come too? lol
No snow here yet this year, but, oh boy, that wind today is brutal and cold.
Gayle, I love the coin!! Thank you!
I got two letters yesterday!!!! My mailman actually told me "you got letters!" I love my mailman :)
In one of the letters, my SR told me about the fallen recruit. they all know about it, he said they saw him put in the ambulance. Also that there is a sadness there. other than that, he sounded great!
I'm thinking my Sailors should get based in the Keys then I would just move down there :-)
You're welcome, eljac.
Lala, you know you can come on down whenever you like! 60's at night here; may hit 80 today. Humidity is coming back...I can tell because my hair is starting to frizz again! :-)
Good morning all!
