Nice to see people are stopping in to this page! Hello to all.

We were without power for quite some time, so I am just getting a chance to see what has been happening. I will have to check out the packing party discussion.

Donna,

How do I find the List that has the items requested by the sailors?

I would like to have a coupon if you still have one available.

Can I email you my address?

I went to the Christmas Tree Shop last night, told them about our upcoming party and they gave me Family & Friends coupons (a bunch of them).  If you plan on buying for the troops and have one of these stores near you, let me know and we can figure out a way to get them to anyone who want them.  They are only good until Nov. 13.  But it is for 20% off every item you purchase.  I bought a 99 cent item and they took 20% off that too!!!

They gave them to me for Navy Mommas to use, so we may as well use them up!

Leisure-Ley, let us know when you can.  We have decided to go with Saturday, Dec. 1, and make Sunday, the 2nd a storm date.

It has been slow going because of the storm & we needed to pick a date so we are just hoping it works out for most.  We are up to 8 for certain and 2 who will be getting back to us.  So we have the makings of a great party.

Glad to hear you finally have power back!!  If you have any questions about a packing party, feel free to leave them in the discussion above.  Hopefully we will have a wish list very soon.

NO takers on the packing party??  Please reconsider.  MA Moms want to work with you Moms in CT, so we've moved the location to be closer to you.  Harrington Hospital is right off Rte. 84.

Won't you plan to come?  This absolutely will take place even if it is only 2 Moms!!

We are proceeding full-steam ahead with a combined packing party for the southern New England states.  Another Navy Mom and I have finally found what we think may be the perfect location - central to everyone.  So, if you've never attended a packing party for the troops, this is your chance & if you've done one before please come on out and make this an event to remember.  Check out the discussion above "Southern NE combined packing party".  Thanks ahead of time for checking it out.

Hope everyone made it through ok!  Luckily no damage and still have power.  :)
