Our neighbor works for the Kings - special assistant to the GM and in charge of player development so we also got to touch and kiss the Stanley cup a couple of months ago! He had it at his house....I posted pics on my page. I gotta admit it was pretty cool! Hubby and my sailor were super excited! I like hockey - but I find it's more fun to see it "live".
Yes, it was great to see them win. We were glued to the TV for Finals!! Though there were some really bad calls made. I still think they would have won, but it would have been nice NOT to have had that happen.
I had not watched Hockey for quite a while...and it was great to see the Kings have some "umph" to them...and a lot of talent. The Captain is a "goon" though! That's different! I have mixed feelings about that!!
AUGH...You met the Great One! I am so jealous! He is why I got interested in watching Hockey! I love watching someone who was just made for what they love to do.
That was Aaron Rodgers for me with Football this year :-)
I WILL watch the Superbowl...I just want it to be fun for hubby!
Last year sons had friends over...didn't think about the fact that they wouldn't really watch, so they got too noisy!
FTLW...nice to see you and your emoticons back. Still haven't downloaded more emoticons. This may be my incentive!
No golf...BUT I have to admit that there was ONE time I watched golf.
It was very windy and they were playing somewhere with high grass near an ocean...THAT looked a little mroe exciting somehow!
And I did enjoy Football this year...
Thanks Bunker!
I am trying to find somewhere to send him for Superbowl. OR we'll leave and have him invite some buddies over...but I am not too keen on that as even our dogs are distracting (Border Collies-needy!)
Last year, our sons had friends oevr but you know how THAT goes...they don;t really watch it and get noisy. THEN one of them was rooting for the "other" team and made a few remarks...get out!
Want him to ENJOY it!
Thanks Drama!
We heard about Hockey :-) They say it might actually work out better as the Stanley Cup Finals will take place when their is NOTHING else going on!
Guess what? Hubby got to have his picture taken with the Stanley Cup last year and he got to TOUCH IT! (There HAS to be an emoticon for THAT one!)
