Let's not talk about Notre Dame. Could never stand those guys. You would think they thought God was on their side. LOL. JK (half). Stanford lost to them. USC better not or I'll be cancelling my alumni renewal.

Oh, and I am not originally from the bay area.

While the outcome of the World Series was the only GOOD sports thing that happened this weekend, I was really kinda disappointed that the series didn't last longer.

With USC's loss and Notre Dame's win....I am in mourning....

Yeah, boring Series unless you're from the bay area.

Every ump has a different strike zone and you are right often they are inconsistent. On that particular game, I can't recall if the strike zone was really small or big. Either way, as long as he is consistent from for both teams. What drives me crazy is Joe Buck and Tim McCarver said, "JUST missed" when it's a country mile (if the pitcher is from any team except SF). Tim McCarver is retiring and hopefully they'll have someone else do the announcing for Fox. Tomorrow is the parade. I am not going but will be watching on TV.  I was surprised by the Sweep.

Bunker, I didn't think he missed the play at the plate as much as he did the strike zone. It was all over the place and not at all consistent. Huge difference between having a hitter 2-0 vs 1-1. Very easy to control a game from behind the plate.

Anyway, that's what I saw.
