OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hey jp!  Here's for all our Sailor men and women...

This is just a little light break from the intensity of the problems we attempt to solve. It felt to me that we were just going around in circles and I don't like to meet myself coming and going....

In honor of your favorite team, Jack, and an alum of my school and your team...Junior Seau.

Go Chargers!

Maybe it's time for something lighter.  How about Sailor Songs?

LOL AbbyBlue!!!!

I didn't know a football from a baseball until I went to college at a school that had an excellent dental hygiene program and happened to be well known for football.

Nah...I think the subject just needs to be laid to rest at this point.

Anyone wanna talk football since the practice games are almost over? College football should be starting soon and my alma mater is NUMERO UNO.

Good one Abby! Also, if we have Dads who have recruits in Boot right now...we welcome you to join your PIR group...there are several of us veteran moms on there who can answer questions and lend support...even if you don't post...please join and " read only" if you like ;)

Click this link and it will take you to a Forum Discussion that has all of the current PIR group links:

http://www.navyformoms.com/forum/topics/groups-listed-by-pir-date

Bunker QB has some great info...then you can scroll down and see the links to each PIR group. The TG number, PIR date and corresponding divisions are listed. The two most current PIR groups do not have a confirmation from RTC yet...but we do know that the 10/05 PIR has divisions 317-326, 821 and 947. 10/12 does have an 822 and a 948.
