OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Top Gear is the best!! Jeremy, Richard and James are hilarious and who doesn't like "The Stig" :)

"Some say he isn't machine washable, and all his potted plants are called Steve... all we know is, he's called the Stig."

My sailor headed back to San Diego yesterday. A bit sad having the house all quiet again. He's headed to Bahrain tomorrow, so I guess he is officially off on his adventure now. Almost two years of training. Now the real learning begins. I feel the concern coming on again. And here I thought about changing my name to "not so concernedad".

FTLW....LOL! Love that comic. My Corpsman has been home on leave. It has been sooo cool listening to him talk about his work and his goals. Got to listen to him simg snd play guitar. And...having him enjoy all the sports channels. He did mention a Britsh show I should watch 'Top Gear'? Something about cars?
