Congratulations Goofyand glad!!
Cheryl: How did your Thanksgiving visit go??
My son got his orders and will be stationed in San Diego! He is thrilled! He has one more week in San Antonio after Christmas, then off to Mississippi for four weeks of additional training then off to San Diego! I have a cousin who lives in San Diego and has been bugging me to come and visit ..... Now I have even more incentive to do so. :)
Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving.
This Thanksgiving my sailor got engaged and is planning a wedding about 2 years from now. Amazing children that we have raised.....Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving too.
Hope everyone has very Happy & safe Thanksgiving!!
Looking forward to hearing good news from you Cheryl! ... Happy Thanksgiving all.
Thanks for sharing PMSing. You are obviously a very strong women. You made the choices you thought were best for you at the time and it has made you who you are. Blessings to you and your family. HUGS!
Have a fab Thanksgiving All! I hope everybody can spend the time they need with their sailors.
Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving...the only thing we have so far is a huge ass turkey in the freezer, lol, need to go shopping for the rest of the food, but work keeps getting in the way!!!
Have fun Cheryl, hopefully you get to spend a lot of time with her and have a nice Thanksgiving!
Just a quick update ladies...waiting for my sailor to arrive home :) boyfriend picking her up at airport.Going to have her home for a few hrs tonight to give her birthday cards/pressies and for her to chill. Then tomorrow we are going to have a birthday dinner out...just family!!! Am compromising, but hopefully once home she will want to spend more time with us and not him!!! Just thankful I get to see her and hug her again :) Will keep you posted.
PMSing - you are so kind and loving - it's great that you can share that, especially when it must hurt you to even reflect on it , but you can only move forward and try to build bridges back to the family you miss. Good advice to give other young couples! Family is so importatnt. I think my sailor/son has really had that brought home to him, through his whole bootcamp/A school experience! Blessings to you! Happy THanksgiving to all!
