Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

She went and did all this before she left. Got a piece of my favorite pottery, took it to the florist, and got a card. I cried like a baby in front of my class.

I have always been a proud American & I have always supported our military...as my grandfather and uncle served in the Navy, my father in Reserves and now my son. This year I have a greater & deeper appreciation for ALL veterans & active military personnel. Over the past couple months I have watched my son & a friends son choose to serve our country - GO NAVY! Military personnel sacrifice more than we will ever know or understand as civilians. Thank you all veterans and all other military personnel - I Support you, I Honor you and I am so thankful for each of you!! THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!! May the Lord bless you for your honor, courage and committment.

I am blessed to have two Sailors, my daughter and son-in-law who have made this choice and I love them with all my heart and soul. But I also love all of you and your families who have chosen to protect us as well. Thank you so much for your service to our country whether you are a military service member, retired service member, veteran, or family who stands behind them. God Bless you all and Happy Veterans Day. Lora
