Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

@ Micaela i told my boyfriend i dont care who else he writes to as long as he writes to me lol. Sad but true.. to defend us wives, girlfriends and wives to be its hard coming to home to a empty house so those letters get us from day to day. Well at least i know it does for me esp since i dont have any friends or family near me since i recently moved down here to be with him.

I am going to give you my point of view my SR is my boyfriend and i know from us talking prior to him leaving the love they have for the mothers verse there significant other is two different types of loves. They love their parents but for most of them moving away from parents is easier then leaving behind there significant other. I am pretty sure that he didn’t want to hurt your feelings but if his current girlfriend is someone he wants to spend the rest of his life with I know he is probable still trying to adjust with her not being around. You have to trust in your heart that he loves you and once he has wrapped his mind around missing her you will get your letters too. Please continue to send him letters and continue to support him I know it is hard and I know you’re feeling down know. But just remember they are going through a lot of things and not thinking straight. Just so you know you’re not alone my boyfriend did the same thing box came to me and form letter came to me. But guess what in those 4 lines my SR wrote the only person he was worried about was his dog lol. So funny but so true.... So cut him a break and give him a chance. I hope you feel better…

(very wrong), I found that out its my daughter in boot camp but she had crush on boy and still does on someone i really dont like and i always took it personal when she would choose to defy me and my rules for him.....teenagers urgh
