The "extras" at PIR will get in...but may have to wait until those on the lists are seated....but this is an average-size group so there is space. So I say...bring them!
Milomom: I'm not sure I would tell him about his sisters not coming nor his grandmother right now. It may upset him and take his focus off of bootcamp. Probably better to let him know after BattleStations in a phone call. Who knows? Maybe things will "change" by then anyway. He will "update" his list about 2 weeks before PIR --- but your hubby could get in as an "extra." If you don't think he would be disappointed that the ladies aren't coming, you could write him in a few weeks to let him know so he can change the list.
I sure wish the 3 ladies would go though...because they won't regret it....it is a phenomenal experience! Remind your daughters that there are lots of cute sailors there too! :-) If he doesn't change his list, your hubby should still get in. There will be room.
