You all are very welcome. On behalf of all of the N4Moms veteran ladies on here, we have thoroughly enjoyed helping you all through...it gives us great joy to see your initial feelings of missing them/fear/etc....turn to pure joy as you approach PIR and look forward to seeing your brand new US Navy Sailor! Please know that you all are now N4Moms veterans as well...so feel free to jump on any of the PIR sites to help the newbies of the future!
Enjoy Enjoy Enjoy!
To all the families of this week's PIR: Congratulations to all of you!!! Not only did your recruit make it through this transition to become a Sailor, but you made it too. You are really now just beginning the true journey of this great thing they call the United States Navy. All the emotions you have had during Boot Camp will continue, I am sorry to say. LOL. But now you will be able to communicate with your Sailor on a more regular basis. That is the one thing I wanted the most when Boot Camp was over (besides the hugs). What you will go through over the next couple of days cannot be explained in words. Kleenex will be your best buddy. Keep them close. I hope that all will have safe travels and many happy reunions. Again, I say, contratulations and Fair Winds and Following Seas to all the new Sailors. Signed, a Navy Mom from PIR 10/1/10 (one year ago).
Congratulations to all! PIR, here we come!!
