Hi Aznavymom .. welcome. My daughter leaves in June. I hope your son is happy with the job he received. Where does he go to school? My daughter will be graduating from Cholla.

Hi Everyone! I'm a newbie here. My son leaves for boot camp on July 30, 2 months after his H.S. graduation. Looking forward to getting to know you all!

I haven't found any meet and greets in Tucson. They have some in Phoenix but that's kind of far. Maybe we need to figure out ow to start them! I would check with your recruiter about people leaving around the same time from Tucson...I think there's a group in here for kids leaving soon to bootcamp which might help

Hi son is in bootcamp right now. He graduates april 26th. He's was scheduled to leave TO bootcamp on April 10th...then got a call in January and he left Feb 27th. It's been tough but I'm so proud of him! We live on the north west side of son graduated from CDO 2 years ago.

Tucson moms, we are having a meet-up tomorrow, Sunday March 17, and you are invited!  I sent out a message to members - here are the details -

Meet at 1:30 p.m. in the lobby of US Airways Center/Phoenix Suns arena, 201 E. Jefferson St, Phoenix for a behind-the-scenes tour by a Phoenix Suns representative; then a light snack and RADM Scott Sanders will talk about today's Navy, and answer questions.

All free except for parking :)  The parking garage is entered from the east side of First Street just south of Jefferson.

Feel free to bring your guests!  If you can join us, and we hope you can, please let me know, thanks!
