Well am update. My first navy twin will deploy for the second time this spring. Will be having his 21st b day at sea. He is bummed. He will be taking his E5 exam before he deploys. Hard to believe it is almost two years since he left here. He will be coming home on leave to go hunting next month.
goofy picture
Twin 2 will start the final phase of Nuke pipeline next month. He could be under the sea just like Sponge Bob by next summer. Providing there are no delays.
Please pray my home sells soon, real soon. I start school Nov. 10th and need to be relocated before that.
Anyone else have an update or an introduction?
Funny I thought that my twins were so close that this would be hard on them but they seem to fine with texting and skyping. They have only seen each other twice in two years.
Sierra, We went for Deep dish Chicago style piazza. There is a great place, not a chain really. there is one down town Chicago and another one in a mall close to base (7105 Grand Ave., Gurnee). It is called Giordano's. Our piazza was 2" thick!! It was so good when we went with Steve, Sam wanted to go there also. A wonderful place for Breakfast which is most popular with sailors hands down is called WildBerrys, We went there twice also. 1783 N. Milwaukee Rd, Libertyville.
I don't think there is an in and out there. Think those are Western US. There are none in Colorado. I didn't go to one until my trip to California.
The North Charleston cottage is on 5034 Victoria Ave. You can look it up on line the owner is John Beckroge 843-367-3196, jbeckroge@gmail.com. It was two bedroom one bath. cute yard with BBQ.
Awesome CO-Twin! These pics are fantastic! Your Sailor is looking sharp and you both look so happy and proud! I definitely would like the info about your cottage. I sure hope we will be able to find a way to make it out there for PS graduation. We have some time, so maybe if we start saving now it will happen. Can't wait to make it out there especially because we've never seen the East Coast before.
We got another letter today! WOOHOO! I am so glad that my son's letters are full of humor and are quite upbeat. It seems like he isn't hiding his feelings but being straightforward and honest about how the whole experience. He definitely can't wait to get out of BC though! He found out his rating, but we won't know until his next letter as he wrote the last one a day before he found out. UGGHH!! Oh well, I can wait that long I guess. LOL He told us to stop talking about food in his letters and that he definitely wants In-N-Out Burgers on PIR weekend. I sure hope there is one there...guess I gotta do my research. We are getting closer and closer to PIR. This Friday marks only 3 more to go until PIR! Please make these next few weeks FLY BY would ya?
Hope all is well with all of you and your Sailors.
Hope you have safe travels to SC and I can't wait to hear all about Sam's graduation. Enjoy the time with your Sailors!
That would be great if he gets to go to SC. I will be able to give you some tips on what to do. I am headed that way tomorrow. I know all the kids go to Folly Beach.
He should be able to come home for Christmas.
