Off to St. Louis in the morning, it is going to be an exciting next couple of days, Gregory text earlier and he was at the game tonight too, and he got lucky, a friend of his is their for MEPS so he is at the game with Gregory, so Gregory gets to go to 3 Cardinal games in a row before he gets shipped out, one with a friend, then the next with his family and then the last with his division and then the entire division will board a bus for the GL. I feel bad for Bryce that he didn't get all this.
Off to bed, can't keep my eyes open!!
Wow leukemia and an aneurism, He certainly is a miracle.
I plan to go up into southern Oregon to check out for retirement, especially if Sam ends up in Washington. If I go to Ashland, Or would that be close? I am planning a stop in Reno to meet Seirrascrapper.
DT I will say some prayers that they may put the boys together, maybe having just had a set PIR together they will notice the name and give Jacob his own push. You are right we can pray.
I know miracles myself, I shouldn't have lived to raise my boys, cancer also. Should have passed before they turned two, but I was allowed the privilege to raise them.
@Co-Twin I live about 5 hours from Eureka. Yreka is about middle of California near the Oregon boarder and I live about 40 minutes from Yreka. I did join Nuke Mom - I guessed August 15th!
My boys were a push division and had to wait almost 2 weeks to get started. It did mean they had to work harder to still graduate on time but they did not seem to mind. They even got Hall of Fame Gold division!!
@Cathymg - I would go to Sarge's Meet and Greet and take notes when he talks!! We had a rental car, his info got us GREAT parking and we did not have to wait in the long line of cars waiting to get in. His info was GREAT!!! Also send lots of letters and pictures as soon as possible. My boys LOVED pictures. And don't make any plans for the weekend - let them do what they want, but don't give them too many options. My boys kept saying "for the last 8 weeks I have been told what to do, just tell me where we are going." My boys big thing was new skivvies and socks!!! They wanted food and just to hang out and tell us stories. We had a great weekend. We spent lots of time in the airport, but it was well worth it!!! Oh and they wanted us to bring everything they sent home in the "kid in a box." They took it all to Nuke school with them!
