Oh look at your sailors, how identical they are! One wears BC glasses? One of mine does also. Got contacts the minute his feet hit A School grounds. Glad you had a wonderful time, PIR is quite the experience. Did they announce anything about having twins in one division? Soooo cool congratulations.

Hello Ladies!!  I missed you guys this weekend!  So many things were posted that I so wanted to comment on but I could not get my iPhone to let me comment.  I even had my 17 year old help and still I could not do it.

I had a GREAT weekend with my new Sailors!!  PIR was WONDERFUL!  Our US NAVY really does a GREAT job!

@Doubletrouble be sure and plan to attend Sarge's Meet N Greet.  He has so much GREAT info.  Saved us lots of time on PIR morning!!  And as I just went through this if you have any questions I would be happy to answer them!!

Here are a few pictures of my boys . . .

NAVY FOR MOM's HOLIDAY PROJECT

I just wanted to share this with you all ! Do you know there are up to 6000 Sailors on a carrier! These ladies need all the help they can get so if you fancy doing a few goodie bags do think about signing up for this! Some people do 100's but I don't think I could afford to do that many so will aim a bit lower!

With that said I did trust our information slightly more because it came directly from the Chief - with our recruiter (God love him!) I would have been a bit more skeptical!

I am not too worried about the PIR letter - it will come!!

Glad it wasn't too bad saying goodbye! {{{{{ hugs }}}}}}

Sierrascrapper - thanks for the Mad libs I printed it out and we had such a laugh!

Doubletrouble the current list of PIR's is under PIR Reference Information Group - but don't forget that Cathy and I had kids leave the same day and we are in different PIR groups so don't get too hooked on one group! Either wait for the letter or if you trust your recruiter you could ask him!

The good news is that once that occurs you will know for Jacob.
