Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Nice background on your twins. WOW I am impressed. My nuke twin was not an over achiever until now. He got challenged for the first time in Nuke school so now he ties his best. He would like to become an officer once he has served as enlisted first at least one tour. Love the saxophone.

Mine when after high school because they did not want to be so much in debt to start their life and were not going to get away with no student loans.

I have two boys, a 23 year old and the twins. The twins left for bc 2 months after high school graduation, but a week apart. Their best friend joined and left with the first one. Yes, the first twin was put in a push div and they went through bc together, just in different divs. Their best friend graduated a week earlier. It was soooo good for us to have them graduate together since we live in Texas!

I was lucky with my first one when he deployed, he is an IT so got more calls and messaging. One day we FB messaged for 8 hours! Now then the other one deploys that will be hard as he will be on a sub.
One of mine went camping tonight, the other one to the beach and working on his car.
