Wow! They really do have it going on! Seems like you get more contact once they are out of BC which is good to know!

Today was a stellar day for me as well.  Got a call this morning at around 11 from Stephen, talked till maybe 12:20.  Then got a call from Sam about 1 and talked another hour and half!! wow they really have the twin thing down.

Oh how this PIR will be extra special as you have two at once!! take lots of pictures and please post when you are back.  They are both going to Goose Creek right?  They should be on the look out for a tall sailor with a red Dodge Charger. That would be one of mine.

Spent an hour an half talking to Steve on the phone.  He said there has been no land in sight for a while. Experienced 20 ft swells!! yikes hang on.  We are having fun trying to get the mandolin he wants.  He has challenged me to find a way.

All of you that just said goodbye to your still in my prayers and Double trouble who is going to do it again in a week or less.

Still think you ought to go to GL for 1st PIR and star for the 2nd.

Wahoo Twinsailorsmom! How exciting. Have a wonderful and safe trip. Looking forward to hearing about that chat with the RDC.

That had to be hard for your son to do the right thing in breaking up with his gf. See already your boys have been transformed into men and proud sailors. Congrats to their division too!

Whoo Hoo! So happy for you!!!! Congrats! So excited for you and can't wait to hear A L L about it! Safe travels!!

Sorry about the break up but these things happen and if she's a Debbie Downer best to say "farewell" - I heard they grow up in BC - and he proved himself!

Have fun!!!

Disy - Thanks so very much for thinking of me!!

I got my "I'm a sailor" calls on Monday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  So excited!!!  I am finishing up my packing right now (well when I get off the computer!!).  We have to drive about an hour and a half to get to the airport "in the city" so we shop (for all my guys at home) and stuff too.  I can't wait to see my Sailors all dressed up!!  I believe they are also a HALL OF FAME division!  So proud of them!!

My sad/happy news is on 3 minute younger sailor broke up with his girlfriend for his "I'm a sailor" call!  Sad for him because even if he knew he had to do it and it is what needed to happy I know he is still hurting.  Happy for me and him because she was really bring him down.  Always so negative and we knew she would only harm his time in the Navy.  So proud of him for growing up in BC and for taking care of things!!

SUPER PROUD MAMMA!!!!

Oops...had to delete that last post...I made a big boo boo. I'm up too...but only because I'm at work. Shhhhh...don't tell anyone. LOL

It looks like twinsailorsmom's sons PIR this Friday. I have trouble keeping track too, so I have to click on profiles all the time to refresh my memory. LOL

I thought it was the 9th! I am so confused with dates - I have been using the calendar on my iPhone and it is not for me! I have to see the calendar in front of me - preferably a large print one!! Then I can see how the months look - ridiculous I know!

We have moved into new house and the sprinklers are set for 3am - been waking me up every morning! Of course in TX it's too hot to sprinkle during the day but really need to change it to later at night maybe! It's 6:25 and I am about to have my third coffee!
