We just finished watching the live stream PIR today. One of the Moms I friended when I first joined N4M, had her son graduate today. So...I thought I'd watch. It was the first live stream I've been able to catch at the right time. It was REALLY COOL!

CO-Twin, I am so glad that Sam did better on this test, I bet he feels much better!!

I think it is great that you camped out in your yard, you got to take all the enjoyment you can get and it sounds like you like to camp and that was the closest you could get to it at the moment.

Disy and I are now friends on FB so it will be a little easier to keep track of our kids and know what the groups that left on 8/31 are doing, but we will keep you all updated, because you all have quickly become our Navy family!!

I have to tell you a older lady from church stopped by, she asked me last night if it would be ok that she stopped by, she came in with a sack and it had lime-a-rita's in it. Aww, she thought I needed a drink and I did, we sat and talked and she asked me to tell her everything about Bryce getting sworn in and I did. I am a Lutheran and we believe is alright to have a drink, it is just not ok to do it to the point of abusing the body that God gave you. Anyway we had a nice chat and she had some words of wisdom for me. It was nice of her to think of me today!!

I have this letter that I wrote to Bryce last night when I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep, now I will just be waiting for his address so I can send it and the others I write to him. I don't think he is going to have a shortage of mail. I do feel horrible about missing his call last night, I still am not sure how I missed it, the phone was 5 inches from my ear!! But God tells me it does no good to worry and that I need to let him be in control, so I am handing this burden over to him tonight and trusting that my son knows just how important he is to me. I know he does know that I just thought what a horrible mom to not hear such an important phone call, well I need to move forward now!!

I found once pie in a jar. But they do not recommend this if you ship to a ship.  They want to stay away from glass.

disy you sound like you are doing OK. Yes I did sleep in a tent last night. You see I like 4.5 miles outside a mountain town in Colorado. My yard is 2 acres. I just got a new tent but I work 6 days a week so going camping is tough. I have a fire pit in my yard so it is almost like camping.

Thanks for the fill in still no post from the new member Shell?

Sam called he did better on his latest test.  Brought his GPA up to a good spot. Twin stuff, He is making his brother jealous.  Steve is an IT on a destroyer. He is a whiz at electricity and enjoys it. The boy can wire anything.  So Sam is telling him about his classes in electricity and Steve is "Man why didn't I go for that?" He can however take classes on line while he on his ship and go for that.

I am worried about Cathyb. Hope she is OK today.

Didn't your twins roll their eyes at you already? Mine did.

PIR attire is semi dressy.  Pants are OK just nice ones. You can look at the RTC FB page and get an idea from the past photos they post. They are posted every week. That is great MyTwoSons that your boys will be at Pensacola together.

Who is it here that have PIR together?

Co-twin and group...

My middle son shipped to BC on 6/19/13 and his PIR is 8/23/13.

My youngest son shipped to BC on 7/17/13 and his PIR is 9/20/13.

Thankfully they have both chosen the same job and will go to Pensacola for their A school.

My oldest son moved back home at the beginning of the year after a short stint of "being an adult".  This has been a blessing to me in more ways than I can express at this time.

Not sure what else the group would like to know... :)

Disy...I was wondering how you were feeling today.  I'm sure the memories are definitely flooding in.  Can you picture your daughter with short hair???  I can only imagine that you are feeling quite drained after all the chaos and excitement.  Hang in there girlfriend and just know that box is on it's way soon!

I'll have to deal with Twin 1 rolling his eyes at me in the future.  He already does now when I mention a "last" or how many days left etc.  I can't believe that 2 months has already passed since Twin 2 swore into DEP!

I would love to know how to handle the fashion at PIR too.  I have a CUTE CUTE pair of capris that are Navy Blue and they have a rope-like tie at the top of the pants and on the bottom of the legs.  I will probably wear a Red shirt of some kind or a White shirt of some kind and a Red or Navy Blue hat.  I ALWAYS wear hats in my free time.  I'm addicted to them, I think I own about 30 or more.

Cathy...thinking about you my friend.  Surround yourself with good things and keep busy.  Did you work today or are you still traveling back to home?  Hang in there!

Yes clear as mud that Sierrascrapper !!!

Good cheat sheet but Cathy and I BC 07/31/2013 - I know you want an extra whole month of summer but it ain't gonna happen!!,

Courtney was recently in UK visiting my mom and she went with her boyfriend and she said it was terrible he kept looking on the wrong side of the street to cross! Of course Spain drive on right side too but the driving in Spain is horrendous !!! What a tragedy!

Long long day today but I cheered myself up with what to wear to PIR! One of our moms is going soon right?? We need a fashion update! I am looking for smart not too smart - don't want to look like it's a wedding - my favorite store is Coldwater Creek! They have a shirt with an anchor on it but that's too twee! Might where that to Meet and Greet!

Co-Twin - just to make sure I am not completely crazy - you did sleep in a tent last night? Is that what I read?

My baby now has shorter hair and gone a whole day without texting me or liking one of my fb posts!! But she is no longer a baby so bitter sweet memories flooding back to me of when she was little! Twinkle 2 just rolls her eyes at me all day but she has checked up on me periodically which is nice!
