CO-twin and 3boysmom...I can only imagine how difficult it is to miss the big holidays without your kids. That is going to be some difficult medicine to swallow next year. I'm grateful we have all the "lasts" to enjoy right now.
I hope they approve your video CO-twin...I would LOVE to see it.

Checking up on you Cathymg and Disy. Hope you and your spouses are hanging in there. Baby steps. First things to look forward to...little by little the GRAND day will come and you will be so proud!

Disy...have you connected with any others shipping out on the same day from your MEPS? That would be cool if you could get someone to get a pic of your daughter swearing in.

3boys I know what you mean, Steve missed Christmas, Thanksgiving and their birthday! Sam was in boot camp for their birthday, at least we could call Steve for their birthday, this was my first mom day without either, but Steve called me and we talked for over an hour and a half.
I hope they ok the video, they might not .

3boysmom - I have watched a few of the PIR and it brings me to tears.  I can only imagine how much more emotion there will be when I am watching my two sons at their PIRs.  25 days and counting for my first live PIR!!

Co-twin,
I remember the singing of Anchors Aweigh from my sons PIR. You're right, it's an impressive moment, full of pride. My sailor is graduating soon from A school in Pensacola, then home for leave, then on to San Diego. My soldier is currently at Ft. Bragg, NC. next weekend I'd his birthday and will be the first time we haven't been together for his birthday. I know it's common in military families, but the first time is still hard.

I don't know if you can see it yet or not, but I can see the Anchors away video on my page, it says still waiting to be approved.  So I don't know let me know if you can.  It makes me cry every time.

Our pastor had a special prayer for each of mine the sunday before they left. He also had one for Steve when he was home on leave.

Cathy hope the open house goes well.  It is another one of those "store it in your heart moments"

3 boys mom  where are yours now?  I forgot?

Love the bow tie.  and the crib picture.  I did message the video of sam weightlifting didn't I.

It has poured rain for two days here, but we really need it.

I was soooo happy to talk with both of mine on the same day!! must have been a twin osmosis thing.
