Do you think they are doing more to be together cause they know time is running out to be together?

I don't really know what is up with the fingerprints. I would've thought it was done before but I guess not. They are taking him to the Sac MEPS this time, so a short trip thankfully. I plan on talking to the recruiter at the DEP meeting tomorrow. Yes we are edging closer. It's crazy to think about it.

Yes my boys are opposite. Right now they do a lot of the same things when it comes to video games as they are hooked on something called DOTA. It's all they do when they come home. But Jonathan makes time to read a book every night too. Before this game they were quite a bit different. Jonathan is more OCD and Nathanael is more carefree. They rely on each other more than they like to admit. LOL Especially when it comes to chores. They expect the other one to help them and have mercy if someone has to do more than the other. It's a major competition.

Cathy. How is your daughter doing, what exactly happened, how did she end up in the cold and snow?
You must have been so scared. Bless you. Hope her recovery is going well.

Sierrascrapper did they forget fingerprints before? Are you far from MEPS? Ours is in Denver which is a 6hour drive. Did they forget to take them the first time?
You are edging in to ship out date. What is the date again?
My boys continue to surprise me. Do your twins, everyone, flip on you with how they do things? Stephen was the one that had a job always, worked hard, was ambitious, active.
Sam was always sitting at home parked in front of a computer or Xbox. Sloppy never threw stuff out. Never pick up his room, never put a dirty dish in the kitchen let alone the dishwasher. Well now in the Navy Steve is not a happy camper. Makes me sad that he is negative every time I talk to him.
Sam on the other hand LOVES the navy loves the challenges of nuke school. He wants to serve as enlisted on a sub for at least one tour of duty, then maybe go to the navy academy and become an officer.

Hi all! Just wanted to stop in to say hi. My FS has yet another DEP meeting this week. He said that this one will be the one where he does extra stuff since it's almost 100 days left now. CRAZY! Time is absolutely flying by now. Prom is in just a couple weeks and then we have the final spring concert coming up. That one will be the hardest since they recognize the Seniors that night. My FS told me that his recruiter is taking him to MEPS to get fingerprinted. Not sure why this wasn't done already, but I guess it's another step in the process to getting ready to ship out for BC. I'm sure he will love the drive to chat with his recruiter. Thankfully they are going to the closer MEPS for this trip. He's looking forward to missing a day of school for it. LOL

CMS76...best of luck to your SR as he starts his journey. Hugs to you :)

Congrats to you Cathy on your boys graduating and starting on their new paths in their career.

Hope all is well with everyone!

Oh my there was just a segment on the news made me cry. a 93 year old man was a spectator for a marathon. He was in his WWII uniform. first one runner ran off the road onto the sidewalk to shake his hand and say thank you. Then another then another till there was a steady stream shaking his hand and thanking him for his service.

Cathy that is really scary. What happened, why was she out in the snow? Glad you have Gregory home. Yes please keep us posted.

Double T does your Jacob get to come home on leave for a week or two? Are you going to graduation?

Oh kept reading Will Darien come home in a couple weeks also? Maybe leave could overlap a few days?

OMG! Cathy that is terrible!  I'm so glad she is going to be ok.  So glad one of her brothers are there to spend time with her. Keep us posted on how she is doing.

Both of mine are good.  Jacob graduates OX-PAC, I know that is wrong!!, but, it is his machinist mate auxiliary school, this Friday, March 7th.  This is his last school then he will report to his first command which is still there in Groton, CT.  His wish list #1 was to stay there and he got it!  He will be assigned to the USS Pittsburgh.

Darien graduated BECC today, basic engineering corp class, or something like that.  He says he will start HT STRAND in a couple of weeks and it is about 2 wks long then be moving to the fleet somewhere.....scary with all this Russia/Ukraine stuff going on.

Hi everyone!!
