Jacob is on a fast attack also. He wanted it for the same reason, to see the world! He will be on the USS Pittsburgh.

What kind of sub are they on? My Sam was originally wanting a boomer but after his twin returned from his first deployment, Sam was so interested in all his travels. Steve has now been to almost as many countries as he is old. Now Sam is considering a fast attack.

I think that is correct about the 100 day mark. Time will start to fly by. Enjoy all the little things and the closer it gets you'll find yourself in there watching him sleep at night. Sounds a little creepy, but it's not. I remember watching all my boys sleep when they were babies, watching their chests move up & down. It's the same, you're just trying to memorize everything about them.

Hope all is well with you Shellbell. Hard to believe how quickly time flies. You should be so proud of both of your boys! Hang in there for round 2!

Congrats to your son Jacob double trouble! I bet he is so excited to get out in the fleet and start his next adventure.

Somehow I remember reading that the DEPpers have to go to see their recruiter at the 100 day mark to sign more paperwork. Is that correct? Jonathan will be hitting that mark just a few days after his DEP meeting in March. Whoa! Just typing that makes it seem so close now! Seems like just yesterday we still had a whole year left.

Hi Shellbell!  I have a submariner also!!  He graduates March 7th and is staying in Groton.  He is an MM, machinist mate.  What is your subs rate?

Co-twin, Jacob is staying in Groton.  I can't remember what Darien put on his wish list, I guess I should ask since it is getting close.

Thanks for the update. That is great he got his top choice. Where does Jacob want to be? I know Sam wants to be on the west coast and I am hopping he gets that. I think Steve wants to try to move to the west coast in a couple of years.

Hello! Well, Jacob, my submariner, will graduate March 7th! He got his verbal orders last Thursday & is happy. He got his first choice, to stay in Groton, CT. He will be assigned to the USS Pittsburgh.
Darien still has a little over a month left in school. His girlfriend & the friend's girlfriend are going up for spring break, wish I could sneak into her suitcase!
Oh Sierra- 4 months will fly by! I bet you're glad Nathanael is staying close for college.
Co-twin, I cannot wait till the boys vet to see the world like your son! That is why Jacob wanted to be on a fast attack sub, they port more in other countries & he will see & visit more places.
Good night ladies, I'm gonna head to bed now.
