Good Morning and Happy Thanksgiving to all my wonderful "multiple" Navy Moms!!  I hope ya'll have a fabulous day filled with love and laughter....and football!!

Jacob, in Groton, is on his way to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!!  I'm super excited for him!  Darien, in Great Lakes, is going in to town, I think Gurney, with some buddies to eat.  Our first holiday with them gone and my immediate family, Mom, stepdad, brother and his family, are getting together at my brother's house for the first time!  Our parents live about an hour away and we used to have a big Thanksgiving with ALL the family, but there has been some drama in our extended family so no one gets together except for Christmas.  I hinted at my brother about us getting together at his house and I think it clicked with him.  He texted me later in the day and said we should come to their house!  My hubby was up at 3am getting the turkey in the oven!  So we will spend the day with our little family and enjoy every minute of it!

Be blessed and thankful for all you are blessed with, I know I am!!

Just wanted to say that I hope you all are planning to have a nice Thanksgiving even if it won't be with your Sailor or Soldier. We are making memories to treasure to keep us going when the boys step out into the world next year.

That is so nice to hear CO-twin. I pray it brings comfort to you and all that are missing her presence on this earth.

What an awesome, beautiful, hope filled, positive, loving, inspiring funeral for my sweet little friend Zina. From her own words, she is home, her true home with our God. She was so in love with God that she was a true totally creative being here on earth, she was a light wherever she went. It is very true.

CO-twin...I totally understand how it might be difficult for Steven. Especially if he's been up for it and been passed over. Just tell him to have a good outlook and keep trying.

I think we have a couple PIR's for December here too, will be thinking of you all then.
