CO-twin...GREAT NEWS! So cool that Sam got his promotion! Talk about EXCITING! Loved the pics of Steven too. Haha...Movember!

Shellbell... I'm not sure if there are any other SRs in the group at the moment. You mightbe the last one for this year. I think we might have one in Jan and one in March and then a couple of us have ones that will graduate in Sept. You must be so EXCITED to see your new Sailor. Hug him extra tight when you see him.

CO-twin... That is so much tragedy in one week. My heart goes out to you and your community. I pray for comfort and peace and also that your friend recovers from her accident too. Hang in there.

Sorry haven't been on for awhile. Our little town of 800 had had a string of tragic events.  First my friend and fell from her horse and it stomped on her head, she was not expected to live that first night but she has hung in there, last night she opened her eyes for a second.

Next the mine had an accident and 2 miners dies and 19 were hospitalized. Due to gas in the mine.

two others were found dead one a 92 year old long time resident.

then a girl who had home schooled and was in our homeschool group. She also was one of my first employees at the store. Wednesday she went for a walk and did not come home. She was found the next morning, she had hiked above a waterfall and apparently fell. We as a community are heartbroken. My boys are sad.

It is so heartwarming. I would love to try to find the family. They are from Lake Almanor which is about 1.5 hrs away.

BTW...CO-twin...so good to hear that you've heard from your boys and that Sam is doing good in A-school. My mom just told me yesterday that one of the boys' childhood friends from our church in Carson City has joined the Navy and is going to be a Nuke too. I don't know his ship date yet, but I plan to get in touch with his Mom this week. The boys don't really remember him since we moved from Carson City to Reno just before they started school. Jonathan is interested in touching base with him. He graduated last year even though they are basically the same age. It has to do with the boys' birthdate and the district cutoff for school.
