Got to talk to Steve for an hour last night.  Till his ship took a sharp right turn and lost the signal. he told me that sometimes the sea and the sky are the same color and there is no horizon... he said it is almost disorientating. I would think that would be hard to fly in that.

Mari the cats sleeping on empty shoes makes me cry.  When Steve came home on leave after being gone 7 months his cat would growl at him. I felt bad for my son who loves that cat.  As you can see mine are fraternal there is a height difference of 7 inches.

Sam with hair before he went in during his Senior year.

Shellbell  will Brett get to go to the PIR  my second Sam got to go to Stephens and it was great. He was ever more excited to go then. It also was the last time they have been together.  Really hoping that Sam can get a Chit to come with me to see his brother return from deployment.

It is odd to now at this point I cook for one down from being he hang out house and cooking for anywhere from 2 to 6 Teens.

So what am I planning on doing with my future? Going to culinary school and opening a pastry shop so I can cook for lots again.

Nice to see pictures of the new twins here.  praying navy mom's husband tell us about yours and you can post a pic if you want.

Hi all. Sorry I haven't had a chance to chat much. If life wasn't exciting enough I have been in a car accident and strained my lumbar and whiplash but they do not call it that anymore. So working and  planning to go see Brian at his pir. I have been super busy. Brett is super antsy and wants to start now he is  not going until March. He says he doesn't miss his twin. They crack me up...as babies they slept in the same bed but he doesn't miss him...I believe that as much as I do not miss him....he is trying to be bra

ve because he knows his mom is a crier.

Mari, they will like the contemporary service, that is the one my boys went to. Yes, I was worried about my boys missing each other since this would be the first time they were separated & I had read somewhere that they can 'socialize' at church so I told them about it. They enjoyed the time together & then at Captains Cup they really had a good time showing off being twins to both divisions!

I'm so thankful for my cat. She always slept with the boys, but the past few nights she has snuggled up to me. She knows they are gone and lays on their empty shoes.

I suggested to both of them that they might see each other if they go to church... I even suggested the contemporary service so they'd go to the same one. That will be a test to see just how much they want to see each other. The waiting before I hear from my newest SR, and getting his address is killing me

:(

Mari...That has got to be so hard. Cathymg's boys left about two weeks apart. Hugs to you. One of my boys has been out of town since Thursday. It is so much quieter. It was strange cooking for only 3 today. I can't imagine yet what it will be like when both are on their own.

Pets help, do you have any? I watched a lot of you tube and Netflix navy documentaries. Helps me learn and see what they are up to. And feel connected somewhat.
