Good morning Twin Moms! Hope you had a GREAT A weekend. Let us know if you've heard from your SR or Sailor this weekend. We would like to hear how they are doing.

We had another busy weekend. Having Seniors in HS is exhausting. I'm starting to wonder if things will ever slow down for us. We had 2 band competitions on Saturday for Twin 2 and then took Twin 1 to a college fair at our local University on Sunday. I need a weekend to recover from the weekend!

I think mine just hung out with friends and Steve was gone in less than a week after that. His ship posted today that they carved pumpkins, looked more like big gourds though. Some were really good.

My boys just left on a whim to go trick or treat for the last time.  I'm so glad they did it, but it also makes me sad at the same time.  Jonathan wanted to be a Sailor this year so I bought a vintage dress blues uniform for him.  It's not quite a complete uniform as he didn't have the neckerchief (we improvised) and we bought a fake Dixie Cup hat.  We bought a Mad Hatter type top hat for Nathanael yesterday, so he dressed up in a dress shirt with a bow tie and added some playing cards to his hat and wore his Converse shoes and took a cane. They look so good together.  I was crying when I saw Jonathan putting the uniform on.  I can't wait to see him in his REAL uniform in the future.  I'll try to upload a picture soon.  At first they were indecisive about going out to trick or treat, but after their friends called and invited them...I encouraged them to do it since it will be the last time they can do this really.

Wow Kendra, that is a lot of baby in there.  And you delivered about as far along as I was.  That is along time to be in the hospital eating hospital food, yuck.  You did really well. Had another friend who had triplets. They were expecting two but had a surprise third.

Sounds like you had a great trip. I have always thought SeeBees seemed like a interesting job for navy.  How are your boys handling being apart?  Mine are OK, they defiantly miss each other and they communicate more with each other than their parents. They Skype a lot.

You all are amazing women! Thanks for sharing your stories. The best part is thinking about how far our tiny little babies have come.

Hello Everyone- Just got back from seeing Nathaniel graduate from his Master at Arms school in San Antonio, TX. . He was so proud getting his new police badge. Unfortunately with the Government shutdown, his orders and plane tickets weren't processed and we had to leave him behind instead of bring him home on leave for 2 weeks. (I tried not to get my hopes up....unfortunately it didn't work) They were given liberty for the whole weekend so we did get to spend an extra day with him. He will be heading to Bahrain at some point.

We did get to see 2 of the triplets because Morgan is at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. He has always had more liberty privilidges than Nate. We did the Tower of America, saw the Alamo and walked on the River walk. It was a great time.

Zach is in Gulfport and did start his classes for SeaBee on Monday. He was told he wouldn't be starting until Nov. 6th. WooHoo!!

Morgan and Zach will both be home for Christmas...I think Nate will already be in Bahrain :(

My triplets were born at 35 weeks...Morgan was #5.4, Nate was #5.9 and Zach was #5.9. I was in the hospital for 8 weeks before having them because we lived so far away from the hospital. I was definitely rounder than I am tall!! lol. What a sight!! No NICU for us (Whew!!) We have always considered ourselves VERY blessed to not have to go thru that experience. They were in an intermediate nursery for less than 24 hours and then went to the regular nursery and we were discharged 3 days later.

We were truly blessed indeed. I had to stay in the hospital for 4 days as my blood pressure wasn't going down very quickly which was a blessing in itself as I got to spend more time with my babies. They certainly have come a long way since then.

Wow sierrascrapper, tiny, they sure have grown up to two very enjoyable young men. I enjoyed meeting them.
Funny you didn't know your water broke. I went into labor at 6 weeks early, stayed in the hospital hooked up to an IV of Mag sulf. To hold off labor for two weeks till their lung tested done.

My twins' birth story is a bit long...but I'll try to keep it short. My Mom came to visit me and help so some cleaning around the house to prepare for when the babies would come. I had told her that I didn't think mymy water had broke, but that I felt a bit wet all day. She said I should call the Dr. I waited til my husband came home in the afternoon and called the Dr who said I should go to the hospital to get checked out. I still had almost 7 weeks to left before my due date. When I got to the hospital, they confirmed that my water had broke abd that I also had preeclampsia. They told me that I would be having my babies that night. The hospital didn't have a NICU, so they had to transport me ann hour and a half away to a larger hospital. I had to ride in an ambulance lying on a stiff board on my side due to the concern about my blood pressure. I remember seeing a full moon out the back window of the ambulance as we drove away. I had the boys by c-section at 12:01 and 12:02am. Nathanael weighed 3lbs 15oz and Jonathan was 4lbs 6oz. Thankfully they were very healthy and only had to stay on the hospital for two weeks so they could monitor their growth.
