Oh that is exciting about the two doing National guard and ROTC. Disy she could get her nursing degree via the navy, a friend of mine got his medical degree through the navy.

Steve said this morning that they have not shown the crew the movie yet but it is his understanding that a lot of it is not accurate, typical hollywood. Movies are never close to books and sometimes they are not anything like the books like Under the Tuscan Sun.  Loved both the book and the movie but the title was all that was in common Oh and I guess they were both in Tuscany. Now I need to watch the NG documentary again to compare.

Thanks so much CO-twin. I can't imagine going through this without this AMAZING support group on N4M. I just want to tell all the FS Moms about it so they know and don't have to go through this alone. They stick that little postcard in the packet they give the kids when they swear in, but it makes you wonder how many don't find N4M. The connection here makes the journey more bearable. I feel like I need to make a flier every month and schedule a meeting every month for the Moms of the FSs so that we can really get the message out.

Sierrascrapper take comfort knowing that you are part of a group if women here who do know those emotions, challenges, worries, pride and the other emotions in the gambit of being part of our military. It is normal and expected, and we are blessed to have others here who do understand.
Can't imagine doing this with just my own community here.

Thank you ladies for your support and understanding. I am so AMAZED at how strong you Navy Moms are. Busy weekend ahead for us. Jonathan has his first bandband competition in California tomorrow. We are leaving early for a day of shopping in Sacramento at Ikea and Fry's, then the band takes the field at 8:30. Can't wait!

Disy... How cool is thatt about your other Twinkle wanting to join ROTC at her college. What service is itit connected to? Also as far as pics go. Try to copy and paste into the comments. I think that works.

Co-twin I am sad for you but know that you are amazingly strong and will get through this - sending you navy mom hugs and friend hugs too xxxxx

Sierrascrapper - it is okay to cry as everyone said - you have a long path ahead and two seniors it is a very stressful time - lean on us!

Cathy - that's so funny about National Guard - twinkle 2 just put in for an ROTC for them at Duquesne.

Co-Twin I think I have to post the pics on my page cos I am on iPad and don't have that little button - will wait for confirmation then you can see them!

CO-twin...I hope things can all work out for the best. Does he know you planned on filing this week? My heart aches for you and your boys. I know you only want what's best for them. You are going through so much right now and I pray for God's peace and guidance to come over you.

Cathy...so good to see your post and hear about the nice time you had at PIR and getting to meet Doubletrouble. How cool that Disy's daughter and one of your boys have been able to meet up too. Are you loving being able to communicate again?

PS...we've missed you and the rest of the latest former SR Moms.
