Sam stuck with a razor. Steve wanted his electric one back. My Dad still uses the old fashioned single blade variety.

I have a stupid question and I feel more comfortable asking here rather than in other groups. I noticed in the care package group that some of the Moms asked about sending razors to their Sailor. My son hasn't left for BC yet, and I know they learn how to use real razors there. But I guess I had in my head that after BC they could use an electric shaver. Is this not the case?

You said it right CO-twin. I say we toss them all out! I definitely dont feel like I'm being represented. I learned a LOT about the political process when I worked on a Presidential campaign in 2008. Both parties talk out of both sides of their mouth.

I saw the tooth cleaning post also. Can't fathom that so stupid that a bunch on millionaires can't get there act together so while we pay them they do nothing but ague and they almost never it seems take into account what the majority of the people want.  What ever happened to "by the people, for the people"

Great update Kandra. This whole govt mess has really got to end. I heard a Navy Mom say today that her son said they could only clean 3/4 of his teeth because of govt budget cuts. Sounds to unreal to be true... but at this point I wouldn't be too surprised. Prayers going up for safe travels for your family and Congrats to your new MA. Enjoy the time with your Sailor when you go to visit him. Best of luck to Zach as hehe starts his next round of training. Bravo Zulu to your son Morgan on his achievements in his training so far.

CO-twin...that would be cool if you could all Skype together. I'm praying youyou will all get to be together for Steve's homecoming. That will be REALLY special.

Thanks for the update Kendra. It is nice to be able to communicate. Also for our kids they now can reconnect with each other which s I think more important when you are a multiple. Sam wants to arraigned a whole family Skype so we an all talk. I am hoping o all be in Virginia for Steve's ship returning in January. It will be the first time we would all be together since 11-4-2012!!

Nate (MA) is going to be graduating his A-school on the 25th of October. With this government shutdown business we are unsure if he will be coming home on leave after graduation like we want. We are making the long trek from Illinois to San Antonio..driving the whole way...UGH!!! Zach (BU) made it to Gulfport but is just waiting for his classmates to get there so they can begin. He thinks it may not be until the 1st of November then the 11-13 weeks starts. UGH!! Morgan (HC) is doing well in his classes at Fort Sam. He was accepted into the SOCP program. He has worked really hard and is in the top of his class. What a difference it is after BC is over...You can talk to your kids whenever (mostly) you want. It is still hard having them so far away but the not knowing is over.

That sure would be AWESOME if they showed it on the Bainbridge. I wouldn't be surprised. I hope I can catch the movie some time this week. Definitely a MUST SEE!
