Betsy Welcome glad you found us. Thought you would see my post. You will have to read Sonya's post. Her twins are on a buddy system. I never know that existed and is totally cool.
Remember anyone when the triplets went, two were same PIR date one close. They got written up on Navy times or Navy.com I believe.
Sierra, Has Jonathan seen Sam? You should send him a pic of Sam so he can keep his eyes peeled for him.
Welcome Sonya! How cool that you boys are in the same division together. I have only one twin in the Navy. His brother is here at home and going to the local state University to earn his degree in Secondary Education. My Sailor is in Nuke A-school right now. He has PIR 8/29/14. We are from Northern Nevada. The boys seem to do alright apart from each other. I think they keep in contact a lot, but I don't really see it as they text mostly. But I'm glad they still have a relationship together and that they aren't always arguing like they did at home. We'll see how that goes when my Sailor comes home for Christmas. LOL
They will both stay in GL for A school but different schools. One is going for Operation Specialist and the other Gunners Mate. OS school is only 10 weeks where GM is 27 weeks so that is when they will split.
WOW I had never heard of that Sonya, that is awesome. Great to hear that our navy is having some fun with your twins. What are they going to be doing after BC?
Mine are an IT on the USS Bainbridge and a Nuke finishing up his training in Goose Creek SC.
I just moved and started school myself, Culinary. Started Monday. so far 6 hours lectures everyday of SaveServe food safety. Have my first exam on Friday.
Got REALLY cold here. supposed to be -11* by morning. this am was 1*. snowing and makes the commute a white knuckle drive.
Welcome New member Sonya, Mom of 2 new recruits. This is a wild ride that you have started also your twins. Did they start together? How long ago? One other set of twins from this group discovered that if they went to church on Sundays they could see each other and I believe they could even visit? is that right Double Trouble? My twins went in almost 6 months apart. They are both on the east coast and are in contact quite a bit.
They have gone camping together a couple of times.
Cold Cold Cold here gonna be below 0* tonight!! Toooo early for this.
I am having washer/dryer issues. In my new house ordered a Maytag set on sale. The dryer was electric and it turns out The one I bought was electric. So they took it away and ordered a gas one and they did not charge me more, The washer ate my laundry. First time I tried it. The door locked and then it did nothing. My laundry was locked in and it would not wash or unlock. My laundry was locked up. They brought a new washer and got permission to break the other ones door to free my laundry. New one works like a charm. Then this AM they brought the new dryer and Low and behold it was damaged, dented in three places. SOOO they took it away and are replacing it with the newest next years model at no cost. It will come on Tuesday. I have had to hang three loads outside on my new houses laundry line.
Love the Halloween pictures of your boys, Cotwin & Sierrascrapper. I bet that brings back memories. I always made my boys costumes. For some reason I seemed to have more time back then. Doesn't make sense does it? The first three years after they were born I stayed home. They could usually entertain each other and I'd sit at my sewing machine and supervise & sew at the same time ! I loved that time in my live. Hectic but fulfilling. I miss them being little sometimes.
Hope all have a Happy Halloween ! Snows flying here in Wisconsin. :(
Oh that is too funny. They are so goulie. Love that.
