Welcome PrayingNavyMomsHusband! Congrats on your new Sailor. We had a few new Sailors graduate in our group today and another group the last couple weeks.

I have twin boys who just turned 18 and are finishing their last year of HS. Jonathan is in DEP and leaves for BC in July, two weeks after graduation. He is also going in as a Nuke. His brother Nathanael has a totally different path he wants to take. He will pursue a teaching degree.

Best of luck to your new Sailor as he starts his journey in our fine Navy. And hang in tight with your new AF recruit at BC.

My wife will join shortly, but we are the proud parents of a new Sailor, currently in the Nuke power program, and now an Airman in the Air Force who is still at boot camp.  Looking forward to sharing with y'all about the issues of multiple kids in the service.

Cindib...from what I understand. Generally boot camp is 8 weeks. However if a division doesn't fill, the SR will be on P-hold which means no training really, just waiting. That can make it go 9 or even 10 weeks. You will know once you get his form letter in the mail. This link explains how divisions and P-days work. http://navyformoms.com/group/bootcampmoms/page/ship-division-how-it...

Once boot camp is over things get better for twins to communicate they have phones and laptops back and can call, text and Skype.

Oh what a bummer that you can't post pics. Glad you had a good time. Hope the car door didn't hurt you too bad.
I am prying for a miracle for your twins doubletrouble. The envy does sometimes change things. The remaining g SR is in prayer for BS tonight.
