Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi ladies - what an amazing weekend, I am exhausted, she's in Pensacola with her new airman buddies and doing good - I didn't sleep for 72 hours so I am absolutely wasted but I promise to post pictures soon!! So much fun!!

Kendra. Thanks for all the pictures, wow quite the day for you. When does the third one have PIR. that was special that he got to be with you. Nate is like my Sam, so much taller than his twin and me. Congrats triplet mom. You were interviewed my NavyTimes? When will it be posted or was it already?

Aunt bee. Where are you in the country? When I went out with two other teens in tow. We took Amtrak a d it was not expensive fron u ion station we took the Chicago metro right to GL right to the Recruit Training command.

I posted pics from my son's graduation this weekend. We had a great time seeing our Sailor after his graduation. He made it to Gulfport, Mississippi without any problems.

CO-twin...nice to hear you're in OR now. So jealous of all the time you have been able to spend on the beach. Wish I was there too. You deserve this time and I'm so happy that you've been enjoying yourself.

Sassymom...hope you get your call from your SR today.

GinaFio...also in the Bootcamp Moms groyp is a link on ways to save $$$ for PIR. I believe it's on the right panel under group member pictures. When my son leaves...his PIR will most likely fall on Labor Day weekend, so I understand how you feel about the hoigh cost of a holiday weekend.
