Welcome to all the new moms! Can't believe how much this group is growing!! My daughter has her PIR this weekend and I leave for Great Lakes tomorrow !! So excited! BUT I have decided to close down my N4M's page and move over to Facebook - I am a complete addict so it's easier for me to follow posts and connect there! It's been wonderful meeting you all and I wish you all and your Sailors all the very best!!

It is so great to read all the happy and great news on here! I love it!

I got a bonus call this evening. Wasn't expecting a call and it came at 4:55 while I was still at work. Thank God I had my cellphone on my desk right in front of me and
I saw it light up. You bet I answered it!!! She is doing great and their division passed a big test so they were happy! So good to hear her happy and relaxed instead of stressed out!

And her twin sister met with the recuiter yesterday and goes up to MEPS next week. It hit me tonight that once she leaves my twin girls will be going completely different directions but both Navy! I never imagined this!

Yes, sierrascrapper, I received my box & letter on Monday.  Yay !  It was a bit strange seeing his clothes just sitting at the bottom of that box. Well, they all went down the shoot to be washed.  The shoes went to the dump !  Now it's letter writing time and waiting for the phone call.  I can't wait to hear his voice and I'll be able to tell how he's doing by his tone.  Thanks for asking  :)

We now have three triplet moms and we all have triplet boys.  How cool.

Good evening ladies. Hope all is well with everyone.

Cathy...YIPPEE! So glad the weekend was wonderful with your new sailor Bryce. It must have been an AMAZING time. I'm sure you are anxiously awaiting Gregory's PIR. If they don't call it PIR in BC, what do the call it?

Shesh...did you get your box today???? I hope so!

We have another NEW member...sassymom9503. She also has triplets. Maybe some if you seasoned Moms can answer her post above. Welcome! My son hasn't left yet, he is still in HS, and turns 18 next week. My heart goes out to you, we are doing all we can to make this last year of high school special. It is so hard to imagine our kids going out into the world and making life changing decisions like serving our country.

Hey girls, How is everyone doing? Well we got to spend Friday after PIR and Saturday with Bryce. It is funny because Bryce ask me why I called it PIR, said that no one calls it that at Boot camp.

CO-Twin, I am glad you are having fun on your trip, you deserve it!! Hope you have the time of your life!!

Sierra and CO-Twin, sounds like you had a good time when you met up, I have to say I am a little jealous, I would sure like to meet this special group of moms!! But very glad it turned out to be a nice visit.

Had a great weekend with Bryce and I am happy now that I can stay in contact with him. I can't wait for Gregory to get there so he can finally see his brother. I can't wait to get my hands on Gregory myself, I am so excited to see him!!

Yes, sierrascrapper, my son did bring his cell.  I should be getting it soon, I hope.

I know our Dad's would be proud of the boys.  I'm hoping my Dad will have an "in" with the Boss upstairs and kept all our soldiers safe.  :)

CO-twin...I looked at the link for your son's shell back ceremony. Looks like they all had a good time. Talk about a slime fest. I'm sure it is something your son will never forget.

Shesh...did your son bring a cell phone? If not...maybe he decided to just get rid of everything and nit send it home. But I bet you'll get the box on Mon or Tues and you might even get the form letter the same day. Hope it comes soon!

Shesh...my step dad who raised me since I was 9 was retired Navy/ Army. He served in WWII and Korea. He passed away about a year and a half ago and never knew my son wanted to join the Navy. He had a really nice veteran's memorial service. It may have had a huge impact on my son too. I know my Dad would've definitely been so proud of him. He is looking down on him with pride now.
