Thanks for the info CO-twin. I just wasn't sure if it was easy enough to deal with on their own due to their schedule. Isn't it nice that he can take responsibility for himself now? I'm glad to hear he is saving money and not squandering it away too. That has got to make you feel so proud of him. That kid is TALL! Quite a difference in height between the two boys. My Dad was really tall and my brother is really tall so my boys might get that trait. They are a couple inches taller than my husband and I already. We'll see how much the grow in the next year. I think Twin 1 is about 1/2-1" taller than Twin 2.

Hi Twinsailorsmom...so good to hear from you. Awesome that your boys are doing well in GC and getting settled into a routine. I bet they are glad to move onto the next phase. Nice to hear you are more able to communicate with them now too. I read something about class ranking in Nuke school that might help you not think so much about who is near the top or bottom. Question: What do you call a med school graduate who is at the bottom of his class? Answer: Doctor. So...it doesn't matter what their class rank is as much as getting through the program.

They can get them on base from medical or he got his off base because he wanted extended wear ones. He is good saying he is making good money and wants to take care of that kind of thing himself. He is putting money into savings also.

Hello Ladies!!!  Sorry I have not posted in so long.  I just don't get onto the computer that much.  My twins are doing GREAT at GC.  They phase up today!!!  I am so proud of them.  One twin is the #3 in the class (twin A) and the other is 3rd from the bottom.  Funny how it works out.  They are both very happy and seem to be adjusting well.  I LOVE that I can text them all the time and that I get to facetime with them often.  I will make more of an effort to keep up with you ladies.  I'm going to go back now and read you older post.

Co-twin thanks for the message!

Question for you CO-twin...how does Sam deal with his contacts now that he is in A-school? Meaning, does he have to order them online or do you get them from his home eye dr and send them to him or is there another option on base?

I guess I forgot to post this. Handsome boy that Sam he is looking down but has big brown eyes with wickedly long eye lashes.

LuLu...I can totally understand the heartbreak when you were told your Sailor would be stationed in Virginia.  I also live on the West Coast and I am hoping that after my son completes all of his training In SC which will take FOREVER (almost 2 years)...that he will be stationed in San Diego or Washington state. That way we will be able to visit him.  For now...we are just happy to enjoy this time that we have with him until the DAY comes for him to leave for BC.  Hope all is well with your son now that he has made it back and they hopefully have looked at his ankle now.

CO-twin...I bet Sam looks sharp in his dress whites.  Don't they all???  LOL  Too funny that he was just automatically thinking about you and didn't even consider the time difference.  Like you really minded hearing from him right??? LOL

Ok I was a bad girl today.  I decided to go shopping around town.  I found some CUTE CUTE CUTE navy blue-striped tops in the clearance section at Kohls. One is more like a tunic blouse and the other is dressy tank top.  The tank top is SO ADORABLE as it has navy blue lace in the back and the trim around the collar and armholes is gold.  It looks so NAVY like!  hehe  I also went to the mall and tried to find a skirt to match the tunic top.  I found a chiffon maxi at Forever 21 in navy blue and it matches so nicely.

I promis to work on a mad lib. LuLu we came up with the idea to send our recruits and sailors mad libs instead of the questioners. So far one that Sierrascrapper made up is pretty funny, but we need an A School one and a general one I think. Maybe one for Leave time.
