Sierrascrapper bad news. I had to change my train to go through to Sacramento my rental car was going to cost an extra $200 to get off in Reno. The train stops 3 min in Reno. Can you come there? What is your work schedule?

It is the post of the sailors doing a water project in the Seychelles. There is a pic of about 5-6 sailors cutting pipe (note female doing the sawing) Stephen is in the green shirt with the red hair.

What surprised me was that Sam could keep quiet during BC, Steve I am not surprised, he is more of a loner, sam the social one.  I home schooled the boys except 4&5th grade and high school. The 5th grade teacher told me, "from day one I knew someone was in charge of this class, and I knew it was not me."

It was Sam.  Right afterPIR that entire day he talked so fast and steady you could not understand him.  He did that for awhile after he went to A school on the phone. He seems to have gotten over that now. He had to make up for two months on not talking LOL

Awesome pic CO-twin! You crack me up with the talking thing. LOL. I did alright keeping my mouth shut when I was younger, but now...not so much. LOL I don't think Jonathan will have too much trouble being quiet...Nathanael on the other hand would be in trouble all the time. It scares me how much Nathanael is like me!
I just don't know what to think about these boys. They were having a tiff because both of them were having their girlfriend over on the same day. They didn't want to be together. I am at my wit's end. I think Jonathan is just a bit high strung right now because of his new relationship. Hopefully things will calm down a bit later. I'm sure Nathanael would feel different if he made the choice to join, but for now he might be using this leaving thing as a manipulation tool too.

This is Steve's ships FB page. You can check it out.

Oh I doubt that He is going so far away on purpose to get away from his brother. I know mine had a hard time at first with those feelings but once Sam joined also they went to Dep meetings together and both were excited for their future. Sam had felt his bro had abandoned him. He now is busy finding himself instead of just following the leader like he used to. Sam always did what Steve did, worked the same place did the same activities.

Doubletrouble...So good to hear your heard from Jacob now too. I hope he gets those letters soon! It breaks my heart to hear about them being sad about being apart. My sons were having a tiff the other night and Twin 1 who isn't going in the Navy was telling me how he talked to his counselor at school about his brother leaving. He feels sad that his brother wants to go away and be far away from him. Of course because they were in a tiff...he said his brother did it on purpose to hurt him. I still think Twin 1 has a valid point and it's difficult to comfort him and I don't know what to say.

CO-twin...maybe you can share the pics later as it gets farther from the event and make sure there aren't any identifying things in the photo like names or locations. I would LOVE to see them though...I'm completely fascinated! I was on the varsity rifle team in HS and so target shooting always piques my interest.

Jacob called yesterday! My boys amaze me, they like boot camp! He said the same thing about the food being good. Some of the other moms have said their sons are liking it too, I think its funny. He is missing everyone though:( Said to send pictures of everyone even the dogs! He misses those dogs, we have a 10 yr old yorkie & a 3 yr old yellow lab & they love those boys too. I will have to go print some pics to send to them both. I told him his girlfriend came over Thursday evening & ate dinner with us, spent some time hanging out in his room & playing with the doggies & that the dogs kept running to the window looking fir him &it made him cry. I said sorry & he said no that it was ok, he likes hearing about everything. He has not received any of our letters yet. I told him they are coming to just hang on.
He said he has seen Darien, but says he realized the other night this was the longest they have been separated & he cried for about 10 mins. I knew this would be hard on them &all our twins. Anyone have any suggestions on how to help with that separation anxiety? We did get to tell him they will PIR together & he was hapoy! Another thing, I thought he would be going to Groton the day after PIR for A school. He said yesterday that he will stay in GL for A school then go to Groton later. That means the twins & their best friend will be at A school together! I winder if they room together & if they get to pick their roommates.
Co-twin, the pics are great! Do you still get that hyper/excited feeling when you get to see pics of him after this long? Just wonder if it lasts forever!?
Sierra, that might be a good idea to ask the instructor to work on that. One of the moms I friended on facebook thinks he son is one of the ones in Jacob's div that is talking too much for that very reason. Jacob & Darie. Have both said the div gets more IT for all the ones that haven't learned to keep their mouths closed. For some it takes longer to figure that out.
Well, I'm off to make pictures, have an awesome Sunday Ladies!
