Had 7 hours of messaging with Steve!! He had 24 hr watch yesterday and was all by himself and I helped him stay awake.  I left him at 8pm and her had one more hour to go. He was going to hit the showers and head to shore to get something yummy to eat as all he ate all day was chips!! They are on a week of rest in as he puts it the most beautiful place I have ever seen. Recommends vacation there.

Ellen, lucky BC is only 8 weeks. If he is Div 800 he can gut that out.

One of the three (800 div grads)  from here is here on a visit with their first baby. Baby looks just like his Dad. Kinda fun to have 3 from a town of 800.

Ellen, I'm a high school administrator, so the only time other than summer that I can get to San Diego is school vacations. I have a soldier stationed at Ft. Bragg, so I have to balance visiting the two. It'll be so nice for you to have them both in one place.

At least your are going into the senior year with a plan. Mine didn't really and what they came up with was abandoned and the navy became an option at the end.

sierrascraper ,
sadly I'm in Massachusetts, so nowhere near to my sailor. I'm looking forward to some of our school vacations so I can go visit him! enjoy the school year-- it will fly by with all the milestones of senior year.

Hello 3boysmom...good to hear your sailor is getting settled. Do you live close enough to visit? Hope all is well with your soldier too. You are a brave woman to deal with all those teens. We just had our LAST open house at school for Twin 2 tonight. It was a bit more relaxing this year...especially because he has 2 courses with one teacher and 2 courses with another teacher. I didn't have to try to find his classrooms as much. LOL I am so looking forward to getting through each milestone this year. Next one is Twin 1's open house. His school is really easy to get around and he has a lot of the same teachers from previous years.

Also up stairs don't take the bottom bleacher move about half way up so the railing is not in the way for pictures.
FB messaged with Steve for 7 hours. Whew. He was all alone on watch. By now he should be on a beautiful island beach. Enjoying his liberty time.

Hi ladies,
I haven't been on here in a while. I hope everyone and their sailors are doing well. My sailor is settling in to San Diego which is a big relief for me. I just started a new job as a high school asst. principal so I've been up to my eyeballs getting ready for the opening of school. It's been helping me to keep my mind of both sailor and my soldier.

Doubletrouble - from upstairs you can see your Sailors.  I got some really great shots of my boys because I was upstairs.  When I get home tonight I will post a few so you can see what I am talking about.  I also told my boys in our 2nd phone call that at PIR Emery needed to go to Ethan and then Ethan needed to stay in place and we would come to them.  It worked out very well.

They will have bleacher sections for each Division.  It will be marked, Sams I noticed that it was a little off where he ended up. not by much though.
