For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I just went to Hawaii to visit the other one. Got treated like a queen for Mothers day.

Things must have changed in BC in the four and a half years since mine left. Back then they only got to call when they earned the privilege or needed to collect needed info. No calling whenever. One I heard from more than the other. Now at A school, power school etc... they could call whenever. By then they had their cell phones.

PLEASE!!!! make sure your loved one takes a calling card to boot camp and or send them one ASA you have their address!!!!!!!

My daughter could not call home for 4 weeks because of lack of a calling card. They can buy one there but it takes time :(

One went for A school to Florida then on to Norfolk, VA and at this point is out of the navy and back in Colorado. His twin trained for Nuke in Goose Creek (by Charleston) SC now is stationed in Pearl Harbor. I am planning a trip out to see him maybe in May. There is a couple more here that their twins went to BC together but I do not think they ended up stationed together. If you go WAY back to the beginning we all posted pictures of our twins and lots shared stories about their births.

If there is any further interest in this group post if not I will let them remove this group as it kinda has lost interest. Was fun at the beginning.

My first to join the Navy is now out, twin two to join is in Pearl Harbor for three more years.

This group started out rather active but then lost steam. Maybe we can revive it. Would love to hear from others here if they are still active on N4M's.

It would seem one of mine is more bonded then his twin at this point. One is out of the Navy come November. He did not like it. I think it is his red hair. Too independent. His twin is the follow the leader twin and likes the Navy. He does miss his brother but is leaning toward re enlisting. I found that the Navy really matures our kids. I saw a huge difference. They are both more responsible. Even make their beds, do laundry and brush their teeth, Real miracles!! You could look back at the beginning of this group and read everyones stories and see the twin pictures that were posted. Fun!!
