The mom on here who's son just left for BC is a band player. I forget what instrument. He is going nuke.

Nice background on your twins. WOW I am impressed. My nuke twin was not an over achiever until now. He got challenged for the first time in Nuke school so now he ties his best. He would like to become an officer once he has served as enlisted first at least one tour.  Love the saxophone.

So navymom... How old are your boys? What did they major on in college?  That is interesting to join after college. Mine when after high school because they did not want to be so much in debt to start their life and were not going to get away with no student loans.

I love that we have other moms finding our group! Navymom284, you will probably become a great source of knowledge for all of us that are newer to the Navy life.

I have two boys, a 23 year old and the twins.  The twins left for bc 2 months after high school graduation, but a week apart.  Their best friend joined and left with the first one. Yes, the first twin was put in a push div and they went through bc together, just in different divs.  Their best friend graduated a week earlier.  It was soooo good for us to have them graduate together since we live in Texas!

JonandTysmom, I don't know if you have figured out who I am on facebook, RobertNjessicaStewart!  So glad you joined us here!!

I know what you mean about the phone ringing, I once said you would knock over a 100 year old to get to that phone.
I was lucky with my first one when he deployed, he is an IT so got more calls and messaging. One day we FB messaged for 8 hours! Now then the other one deploys that will be hard as he will be on a sub.
One of mine went camping tonight, the other one to the beach and working on his car.

Co-twin - they went a week apart. Sierra has been a lifeline to me! Love that gal!

Sierra did Jonathan go the same time as Jonandtysmom's first twin? That would be fun if they were in the same division. and if you go to PIR together. Did Jonathan make it into the 900 Div?

Got a text from one of mine, He is camping and made a shelter out of vegetation. It looks like a hobbit hut. Cute. He is hunting frogs for dinner. The boy loves an adventure.
