My sailor is still in A-school so when i asked him about moving, he said either he would be stationed on a base or he would be stationed on a ship and i would go to a port, or somthing like that, so when i talked to him last night he said he needed to make some things clear, that he has told me but he wasnt sure that i didnt understand, and one of those things he said was he could deploy after he is done with A-school , that that is wat he meant when he said he could be stationed on a ship.…

Click on OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) and the Page will open in a new window. Read the Page and follow the directions at the bottom to make change 3 (see the words in bold) so that this page is no longer visible to EVERYONE (Anyone) with access to the web. Don’t forget to click the “Save” button at the bottom.
There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes.
Another change that I recommend that is mentioned in change 1 is to change the ZIP Code to one that is not easily associated with you or your Sailor.
You may want to join Girlfriends, Fiances, and Wives of Sailors.
Is your Sailor still on the Cape St. George? If so, check out San Diego Moms or Sailors in San Diego, San Diego Moms/SOs and Sailors Stationed in California. What is your Sailor's rating (job/specialty)? There may be a group for that as well.
My daughter is planning to stay at the Hilton Bayfront. Even if it doesn't work out that you are in close proximity, I really do appreciate the offer. In the event that it does work out, she and my son will be hanging out together after her returns. He has a car on base (I hope the battery will turn over!), so they will be headed out to celebrate.
Thanks again.
Mary
