OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Follow this link for OPSEC Guidelines:

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).  Still limited to 2 guests maximum.

Specific information on this policy change will be provided in the coming days and weeks.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your support.

RTC Graduation

**UPDATE 7/16/2021**

**UPDATE - 2020**

Due to COVID there is no public PIR. The graduations are on Thursday, and the video of the graduation is posted on RTC's FaceBook on Friday at approx 3pm. Please keep in mind that a division may need to complete additional quarantine during training which will delay their graduation.

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

A little about me:
Single Mom of my 20 yr old son who left for boot camp May 2-3, 2010, and my 16 yr old daughter. In-between jobs working to expand my photography business.
I am here to support my
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy career?
When I heard “Navy,” I...
Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
Haven't learned much yet, just starting out and very anxious about my son leaving. It has been pretty much just the 3 of us for several years.

I will keep Colton in my prayers for sure. I read your feed about ADD and totally agree. There IS no definite test for matter what people say. My prayer will be that Colton will complete bc and find a rate that interests him. What is his PIR date now?

Hi! I want to add Colton (and you!) to my prayer list of sailors and recruits....I do a fast walk with my 2 dogs for 30 minutes in the morning and evening. I just go down my list of sailors in need during that time since it is so peaceful outside...Lord knows my sailor has sure been the recepient of many prayers! Do you mind if I do that?

Hey there....;) I deleted the discusion that I had created when I started the page. I was trying to create a discussion for each division in PIR. I am glad you got one going for your group. There were 4 or 5 comments on ther but they didnt seam vital. Hope you are ok while anxously waiting to hear from your son. This should be a very good week for us I THINK! =D I over looked the comments Angie F.- WA: HM / Pre Buds mom said on your page since she asked. I do agree that, Cam's_ mom_89(Div 275 - Ship 10 or you should delete her comment, which shares her full name. Its just not even worth it. :)
